Content

The aim of this unit is to train participants in getting to know their job profile better and to match it with appropriate jobs.

Objectives

Attendants will be able to:

• Define their assets and challenges in relation to their future job.
• Match their profile with the appropriate field.

Time

50 minutes

Advice for the organiser

The attendants should have already their CV and motivation letter.

Learning methodologies

Short direct discussion, hands-on activities, simulations.

Resources available/ needed

• Smartphones, tablets or laptops for participants.
• Good quality WiFi network with a reliable Internet connection.
• Chairs with desk attached or U-shaped table with chairs for all the participants.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the workshop session the participant shall:

Knowledge

• Understand what skills and competences are in general
• Identify their own skills in an appropriate language
• Understand the importance of updating their CV and writing a motivation letter;

Skills

• Develop and practice the capacity of analysing and becoming more conscious of their assets and challenging points
• Becoming proficient in choosing the appropriate job offer based on its requirements and its distinctive profile

Competences

• Being able to search for appropriate job offers;
• Being able to prepare for a job interview;
