The Job podcasts and videos

Objectives

Attendants will be able to:

• Use the videos/podcasts for self-instruction
• Gain insight in all aspects of job seeking from the videos/podcasts 
• Use the videos/podcasts to gain knowledge about how to present yourself in interviews.

Time

40 minutes

Advice for the organiser

The organiser should watch/listen to all the videos/podcasts in advance and prepare activities according to their contents.

• Engage participants with the content of the videos/podcasts.
• Highlight the most important points in all the videos/podcasts 
• Work with the participants to improve their soft skills and interview techniques

Learning methodologies

Mini lectures, class discussions, hands-on activities, simulations.

Resources available/ needed

• A good quality WiFi network with a reliable Internet connection (alternatively, the facilitator could download the materials beforehand)
• A desktop/laptop to play the videos/podcasts
• Projector/speakers/headphones for the participants
• The participants could use their own devices or the organiser can have the video and sound ready for the class

At the end of the workshop session the participant shall:
