Unit 3 Let’s get to business! Job interview simulation

Content

The aim of the unit is to prepare the participants for a real life interview.

Objectives

Attendants will be able to:

  • Integrate knowledge and skills previously learned (U1&U2).
  • Get used to be in front of the recruitment panel.

Time

25 minutes

Advice for the organiser

The session could be recorded and feedback could be given to the attendant.

Learning methodologies

Simulations, role plays

Resources available/ needed

  • Smartphones, tablets or laptops for participants.
  • Good quality WiFi network with a reliable Internet connection.
  • Chairs with desk attached or U-shaped table with chairs for all the participants

Learning outcomes

At the end of the workshop session the participant shall:

Knowledge

  • Identify their own skills in an appropriate language
  • Know how to interact with a recruiter
  • Know how to interact with HR/employer on the topic of reasonable accommodation;

Skills

  • Practice effective communication with a recruiter
  • Proficiency in oral communication while interacting with a recruitment panel

Competences

  • Ability to feel confident regarding their own skills and knowledge during a job interview
